Located in the heart of Romford’s town centre, the Liberty 2 Shopping Mall is the region’s top shopping destination. With over 100 top name shops, including a wide range of fashion and lifestyle retailers, restaurants and cinemas.

The project included areas of new build and areas of retrofit, linking the new mall building to the adjacent and original Liberty Shopping Mall.

Various lighting design treatments and strategies were used to visually distinguish different zones of the Mall, allowing users to easily navigate around the various shopping floors.

​

A combination of recessed, surface mounted and concealed light fittings were used to create the different types of ceiling illumination whilst providing low level functional lighting to the mall route ways.
