Lightivity were again appointed by London's coolest gym group 'Gymbox' to develop and design the lighting scheme to their new fitness club located in the heart of London's financial district.

The club spans 20,000 sq.ft covering three floors, with each area having a slightly different look and feel. The space itself is a hybrid gym meets nightclub, with DJ’s playing every night.         There are also two mixed use fitness studios and a dedicated spin cycle studio with plenty of cardio and weight machines found in the funky and 

visually dramatic open area gym zone.

 

Our lighting design approach was originally 

inspired by the retro furniture and coloured 

interiors created by Danish design legend Verner Panton (one of our heroes) which adds a new visual dimension to the clubs interior concept whilst still upholding the original design ethos and look/feel that has become synonymous with the growing Gymbox brand.
