The hotel occupies a landmark site in the new Piccadilly Place development, an exciting new shopping and entertainment venture in the centre of Manchester.

The hotel is situated within walking distance of the main shopping and business districts and is on the edge of the cities creative Northern Quarter.

The design covered all front of house areas within the hotel including the main reception lobby, dining area, main bar, cocktail bar, library & business areas and all circulation routes.

The hotel has subsequently changed operator several times over the last few years, however the original lighting installation has stood the test of time and still remains as current and functional as originally designed.
